A Mobi-Rio informa que, na manhã desta sexta-feira (04/08), um veículo de passeio fez uma bandalha (conversão proibida) e colidiu com um articulado da linha 46 (Penha x Alvorada- Expresso), deixando a frente do coletivo bastante avariada. O acidente, que resultou em três passageiros feridos, foi próximo à estação Arroio Pavuna, no corredor Transcarioca. O motorista que provocou a batida fugiu do local. Câmeras do Centro de Operações Rio capturaram toda a cena, inclusive a placa do carro.
O prejuízo com o acidente ainda está sendo calculado. O articulado deve ficar pelo menos quatro dias fora de operação para os reparos. A Mobi-Rio adotará as medidas legais para ser ressarcida dos gastos com os reparos do ônibus e com o tempo em que ficou fora de operação, deixando de conduzir os passageiros que precisam do BRT.
