A Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) de Sorocaba deteve um homem, de 31 anos de idade, que atacou uma equipe da Corporação a pedradas, ferindo um dos guardas, na noite de segunda-feira (14). O caso ocorreu na Praça Frei Baraúna, na região central da cidade. O homem, que tem passagens pela polícia, foi preso em flagrante.
A guarnição da GCM dava apoio a uma equipe do programa “HumanizAção”, que fazia o serviço de abordagem social a pessoas em situação de rua. Ao notar um homem próximo ao obelisco da praça, resolveu abordá-lo, inicialmente para prestar auxílio.
Porém, o desconhecido se exaltou e atirou pedras contra os guardas. Inclusive, usando uma das pedras na mão, acertou um dos GCMs com um golpe no rosto, causando ferimentos. O agressor ainda tentou pegar a arma do GCM, não teve êxito e correu.
A GCM acionou reforço e o suspeito foi localizado e detido logo a seguir, na região central. Natural da cidade de Conchas (SP), ele foi identificado e confirmou-se que tem passagens pela polícia, pelos crimes de furto e roubo.
O caso foi apresentado na Delegacia Participativa de Polícia (DPP) Zona Norte, para registro da ocorrência. O homem detido foi indiciado por lesão corporal, resistência e desacato, sendo recolhido ao sistema prisional e permanecendo à disposição da Justiça.
Quanto ao GCM ferido, foi socorrido ao Hospital Samaritano para atendimento. Foram constatadas fraturas na face e o guarda foi medicado. Ele passou por exames, seu quadro de saúde é estável e precisará ser submetido à cirurgia.
