Cerca de 60 ciclistas participaram de uma ação educativa sobre direção segura promovida pela Prefeitura de São José dos Campos em parceria com a CCR RioSP, na manhã desta sexta-feira (18), na avenida Linneu de Moura, no Urbanova.
A ação contou com a participação de colaboradores da CCR RioSP e de agentes da Mobilidade Urbana com o objetivo de conscientizar os ciclistas sobre os cuidados durante o pedal, como respeitar os limites das demarcações exclusivas para quem tem bicicleta e do uso de roupas claras e visíveis, além de adesivos refletivos nas bicicletas durante a noite.
Durante a ação, os ciclistas receberam folhetos com dicas de segurança para pedalar, fitas refletivas para afixar nas bicicletas e lanternas de LED.
Os itens de segurança, que emitem reflexos à noite, devem ser afixados nas partes mais visíveis das bicicletas, como o quadro, o garfo, os guidões e os aros.
A atividade faz parte do Programa de Redução de Acidentes que a concessionária realiza em conjunto com as prefeituras, Polícia Rodoviária Federal e ANTT (Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres) e também das ações do EducaMob, da Prefeitura de São José dos Campos.
