O policiamento de São Paulo apreendeu 153 toneladas de drogas no Estado entre janeiro e julho deste ano, um aumento de 10,3% em relação ao mesmo período de 2022, quando 139 toneladas foram apreendidas. Esta foi a segunda maior apreensão desde 2001, quando a série histórica foi iniciada.
Somente no mês de julho, o trabalho policial possibilitou a apreensão de 37 toneladas de entorpecentes. No mesmo mês do ano passado, foram apreendidas 34 toneladas – um acréscimo de 8,4%.
Também foram recuperados 26.664 veículos com queixas de roubo ou furto de janeiro a julho, alta de 11,9%. Já no mês passado, 3.604 veículos foram devolvidos aos donos, 8% a mais do que em julho de 2022.
Nos sete primeiros meses, foram retiradas das ruas 6.506 armas de fogo, 10,7% a mais do que no mesmo período do ano passado, que terminou com 5.878 apreensões. Em julho deste ano, as apreensões passaram de 819 para 886, aumento de 8,2%.
As ações policiais possibilitaram que 110.708 pessoas fossem presas e apreendidas no acumulado do ano – crescimento de 6,8% em relação ao mesmo período de 2022, quando houve 103.629 detenções. Analisado apenas julho, a quantidade de detidos oscilou 2,1%, passando de 15.644 para 15.314.
Até julho, a Polícia Civil instaurou 221.220 inquéritos policiais em todo Estado, um aumento de 5,5% em relação aos sete primeiros meses de 2022. No mês passado, a alta foi de 3,6%, com 30.185 inquéritos.
O aumento da produtividade policial é resultado de medidas tomadas desde o começo do ano no combate à criminalidade. Uma delas foi o reforço no policiamento ostensivo e preventivo, com 17 mil policiais a mais diariamente nas ruas do Estado.
