Motoristas e pedestres que circularam na manhã desta segunda-feira (25/9), na BR-356, no bairro Olhos D’Água, na região Oeste de Belo Horizonte, receberam orientações sobre segurança no trânsito. A blitz educativa realizada pela Secretaria de Estado de Planejamento e Gestão (Seplag-MG), por meio da Coordenadoria Estadual de Gestão de Trânsito (CET-MG), encerra a Semana Nacional do Trânsito, que acontece todos os anos entre os dias 18 e 25/9.
A ação contou com a participação de diversos órgãos públicos e entidades parceiras. Foram distribuídos folhetos com dicas de segurança, além de orientações sobre a importância de respeitar as leis de trânsito. O tema da Semana deste ano foi “No trânsito, escolha a vida!”.
Passeio ciclístico
No domingo (24/9), a CET-MG realizou um passeio ciclístico no bairro Cidade Nova, na Região Nordeste da capital. A ação, proposta pela Secretaria Nacional de Trânsito (Senatran), buscou conscientizar a população sobre a correta interação com as bicicletas nas vias, assim como reforçar junto aos ciclistas as condutas adequadas e a importância dos equipamentos de segurança.
Para o chefe de trânsito da CET-MG, Lucas Vilas Boas, as ações educativas são fundamentais para a mudança de comportamento de condutores, pedestres, ciclistas e passageiros. “As atividades educativas são desenvolvidas ao longo de todo o ano, mas intensificadas durante a Semana Nacional de Trânsito com a união de forças entre os órgãos de trânsito, os de segurança pública e a sociedade civil”, explicou.

As ações promovidas pelo Governo de Minas durante a Semana Nacional do Trânsito contaram com a participação Seplag-MG, da Secretaria de Estado de Justiça e Segurança Pública (Sejusp), da Polícia Militar de Minas Gerais (PMMG), da Polícia Civil de Minas Gerais (PCMG), do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar de Minas Gerais (CBMMG), do Departamento de Edificações e Estradas de Rodagem de Minas Gerais (DER-MG), da Guarda Civil Municipal de Belo Horizonte (GCMBH), da Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres (ANTT), do Sistema Socioeducativo de Minas Gerais, do Serviço Social do Transporte e o Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem do Transporte (Sest Senat) e de representantes dos grupos de ciclistas de Belo Horizonte e região metropolitana.
