Policiais militares da 5ª Companhia de Polícia Militar Ambiental Marítima do 3º BPAmb multaram dois homens que estavam com mais de 11 toneladas de pescado. O flagrante aconteceu na segunda-feira (25), no píer de um terminal pesqueiro no município do Guarujá, e resultou em multas de quase R$ 1 milhão aos infratores.
Uma equipe da 5ª Companhia estava em patrulhamento náutico no rio Santo Amaro, durante a Operação Impacto, quando viu uma embarcação pesqueira atracada no píer do terminal pesqueiro.
Foi realizada a abordagem e, após verificação das documentações necessárias, os policiais constataram que os dois tripulantes a bordo não possuíam a carteira de pescador profissional, o que contraria a legislação pesqueira vigente.
No interior da embarcação havia pouco pescado – a maior quantidade já havia sido descarregada e acondicionada em caminhões-baú, que não estavam mais no local de descarga.
O flagrante resultou em dois autos de infração ambiental no valor de R$ 462 mil cada, por exercer a pesca sem licença do órgão ambiental competente, tanto para o tripulante quanto para o mestre da embarcação pesqueira, que tem a obrigação de fiscalizar a documentação dos tripulantes antes do início da atividade. As multas totalizaram R$ 924 mil.
A embarcação e a rede de cerco, que media aproximadamente 700 metros de comprimento, foram apreendidas, assim como o pescado, que totalizou 11,5 toneladas de sardinha Lage. Eles foram destinados a diversas instituições filantrópicas para beneficiar milhares de famílias carentes e em situação de risco.
