Mais alta honraria do Executivo paulista foi entregue a líderes estaduais na nona reunião do Cosud, em São Paulo
O Governo de São Paulo homenageou os líderes estaduais do Consórcio de Integração Sul e Sudeste (Cosud) com a medalha Ordem do Ipiranga. Mais alta honraria da administração paulista, a comenda foi entregue por Tarcísio de Freitas a seis governadores das duas regiões nesta sexta-feira (20), em solenidade no Palácio dos Bandeirantes.
“Nós quisemos fazer uma singela homenagem entregando a comenda, que é a mais importante do Estado de São Paulo, em reconhecimento ao trabalho de cada um dos governadores que integram o Cosud. Eu digo que sou um privilegiado porque sou um governador em primeiro mandato trabalhando com governadores que estão fazendo a diferença, e eu me espelho muito em cada um de vocês”, afirmou Tarcísio.
Romeu Zema (MG), Renato Casagrande (ES), Cláudio Castro (RJ), Ratinho Júnior (PR), Jorginho Mello (SC) e Eduardo Leite (RS) receberam a honraria estadual no grau Grã-Cruz, o mais elevado da comenda. O governador de Santa Catarina não pôde estar presente e foi representado pela vice-governadora Marilisa Boehm.
A homenagem é oferecida a cidadãos que se destacaram por méritos pessoais e serviços prestados tanto ao Estado de São Paulo quanto ao Brasil. O Conselho Estadual da Ordem do Ipiranga, ligado à Secretaria da Casa Civil, foi instituído pelo decreto nº 52.064, de 20 de junho de 1969, pelo governador Abreu Sodré.
O secretário-chefe da Casa Civil, Arthur Lima, é o atual chanceler do Conselho, que visa estimular as boas atitudes da população, contribuindo para enraizar o espírito cívico dos paulistas. Além do grau Grã-Cruz, o mais elevado, existem os graus Grande Oficial, Comendador, Oficial e Cavaleiro.
Atualmente, há mais de 140 honrarias reconhecidas pelo Governo de São Paulo. Além da Ordem do Ipiranga, o Governo de São Paulo concede comendas como a Medalha dos Bandeirantes, o Colar Ibrahim de Almeida Nobre, a Medalha Mário de Andrade, o Prêmio João Pedro Cardoso e a Medalha do Mérito Esportivo.
