Agentes do setor de Fiscalização de Posturas, ligado à Secretária de Planejamento e Desenvolvimento Urbano (Seplan) da Prefeitura de Sorocaba, com o apoio da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM), ligada à Secretaria de Segurança Urbana (Sesu), realizaram operação conjunta, durante a noite de quarta-feira (1) até a madrugada desta quinta-feira (2). O objetivo foi de verificar denúncias de perturbação do sossego e outras irregularidades, em diferentes locais da cidade.
A ação municipal vistoriou oito locais nos seguintes bairros: Jardim Renascer, Parque São Bento, Jardim Nova Esperança, Vila Santa Rita, Jardim Abaeté e Jardim Nickei.
Desses, um estabelecimento foi multado por falta de alvará de funcionamento e notificado por atividade geradora de poluição sonora; outro foi notificado por falta de alvará de funcionamento e por obstrução do passeio público; enquanto outro foi notificado por falta de alvará de funcionamento e multado por falta de alvará de funcionamento em horário especial noturno. Dois não foram localizados nos endereços informados e os outros três estavam fechados no momento da fiscalização.
