O prefeito de Cuiabá, Emanuel Pinheiro, convida a população para a inauguração da ponte de 22 metros sobre o córrego Taquaral, na antiga estrada para Acorizal. A obra será inaugurada no sábado (18), às 9h30.
A ponte dá acesso à comunidade Três Pedras, que fica a cerca de 3 quilômetros da comunidade de Nossa Senhora da Guia.
A ponte foi construída com a celeridade necessária para atender a população rural e urbana, que trafega pelo local. Em cerca de 30 dias, uma equipe de seis pessoas da Secretaria Municipal de Obras finalizou o trabalho.
A obra atenderá a uma população de mais de 7 mil habitantes que vivem no Distrito da Guia e nas comunidades Rio Azul, Três Pedras e Bueno. Apenas nessas três comunidades, cerca de 150 famílias serão atendidas.
Além de atender as famílias das três comunidades, a ponte também será uma solução para o município de Acorizal, uma vez que quem mora na comunidade Baus, em Acorizal, trafega pela ponte.
A obra também é essencial para o transporte escolar, como é o caso da Escola Municipal de Educação Básica Benedita Xavier Rodrigues. Crianças que moram nas três comunidades estudam na escola municipal, que fica no Distrito da Guia.
Trata-se de mais uma obra da gestão Emanuel Pinheiro que beneficia agricultores familiares e moradores da zona rural da Capital. Em junho deste ano foi inaugurada a ponte de 40 metros sobre o Rio Aricazinho, localizada nas intermediações do bairro Pedra 90.
