O programa “HumanizAção” realizou, neste domingo (19), novas ações de abordagem social especializada a pessoas em situação de rua na cidade. As equipes ofereceram atendimentos a 56 pessoas, sendo que 28 delas aceitaram receber acolhimento no Serviço de Obras Sociais (SOS), onde são disponibilizados aos abrigados, além do pernoite, alimentação completa, roupas e toalhas limpas, banho quente e cuidados de higiene.
As equipes percorreram diferentes pontos da cidade, como: Rua Visconde do Rio Branco, Avenida Comendador Pereira Inácio, Rua Francelino Romão, Avenida Dr. Américo Figueiredo, Rua Padre Lara de Moraes, Rua Cataldo Lamarca, Avenida Gen. Carneiro, Alameda das Miltônias, Avenida Cel. Nogueira Padilha, Praça Frei Baraúna, Mosteiro de São Bento, imediações da Rodoviária, Avenida Dr. Armando Pannunzio, Praça Oxford, Praça Nove de Julho, Praça Mãe Preta, Praça Cel. Fernando Prestes, Avenida Pres. Juscelino Kubitschek de Oliveira, Avenida Juvenal de Campos, Praça Dom Tadeu Strunck, Avenida Eng. Carlos Reinaldo Mendes, Avenida Dr. Afonso Vergueiro, Avenida Itavuvu, Avenida Pereira da Silva e Praça Pio Xll.
O programa “HumanizAção” é realizado de forma integrada por equipes da Secretaria do Gabinete Central (SGC), Secretaria de Segurança Urbana (Sesu), Secretaria da Cidadania (Secid), com sua Coordenadoria de Álcool e Outras Drogas junto à Divisão de Política para Pessoas em Situação de Rua, além da Secretaria da Saúde (SES). Também conta com o importante auxílio da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM), Secretaria de Serviços Públicos e Obras (Serpo), Secretaria de Mobilidade (Semob) e Urbes – Trânsito e Transportes.
A população pode sempre colaborar com as atividades do programa, informando os locais da cidade onde haja pessoas em situação de rua necessitando de cuidados e acolhimento, assim como doando roupas, cobertores e alimentos.
