As famílias sorocabanas podem participar, neste sábado (25), das 9h às 10h30, da aula gratuita de Yoga, com o professor Tacio Marin, no Jardim Botânico “Irmãos Villas-Bôas”. As inscrições serão feitas no local, 30 minutos antes do início da prática.
Realizada pela Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria do Meio Ambiente, Proteção e Bem-Estar Animal (Sema), a iniciativa faz parte do projeto “Jardim Zen – Meditando com a Natureza”, que ocorre no último sábado de cada mês.
A Yoga traz inúmeros benefícios ao bem-estar, incluindo os aspectos físicos, mentais e emocionais, melhorando a flexibilidade do corpo, tornando a mente mais saudável e mais concentrada, os músculos mais relaxados, diminuindo a tensão, a ansiedade e a insônia.
Praticando a atividade em grupo, ao ar livre, em um espaço como o Jardim Botânico, se estabelece, ainda, uma maior conexão com a natureza, ajudando, assim, a combater a depressão e a solidão, proporcionando uma melhora significativa na qualidade de vida e o autoconhecimento.
É importante que as pessoas levem o tapete de Yoga ou qualquer outro “tapete” de sua preferência para os exercícios, como uma toalha ou uma canga.
Doe ração para cães e gatos!
Os participantes que tiverem interesse também poderão doar ração para cães e gatos, que será destinada ao Banco de Ração de Sorocaba. A iniciativa visa beneficiar animais domésticos que estão sob os cuidados de protetores independentes e organizações da sociedade civil cadastrados junto à Sema.
