Guardas municipais da 1ª Inspetoria (Centro) prenderam, nesta quinta-feira (23/11), um homem de 47 anos pela tentativa de homicídio de uma mulher, na Praça Marechal Floriano, no Centro da cidade. Ambos vivem em situação de rua. As equipes estavam realizando o patrulhamento preventivo quando perceberam um tumulto e flagraram o homem espancando a vítima com socos e pontapés e até com uma muleta. Imediatamente, ele foi detido e conduzido para a 5ª DP (Gomes Freire), onde o caso foi registrado como tentativa de homicídio e resistência, conforme os artigos 121 e 329 do Código Penal. Na delegacia, ficou constatado que o preso tinha diversas passagens por outros crimes.
Os agentes acionaram o Corpo de Bombeiros, que levou a mulher bastante ferida para o Hospital Municipal Souza Aguiar, onde ficou internada.
