A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria da Saúde (SES), em parceria com o 4° Distrito da Sociedade de Dermatologia de Sorocaba (SDS), realizou, no último sábado (2), na Policlínica Municipal de Especialidades “Edward Maluf”, uma ação especial de prevenção ao câncer de pele, alusiva à campanha “Dezembro Laranja”, iniciativa que reforça os cuidados contra essa doença.
Intitulada “Campanha Anual de Prevenção ao Câncer de Pele”, a mobilização teve 266 pacientes agendados para o tratamento, além do comparecimento de 210 pacientes atendidos, dos quais 54 realizaram exame de biópsia.
A ação foi uma parceria entre os dermatologistas da Sociedade Brasileira de Dermatologia (SBD) e as equipes da Policlínica Municipal e da Central de Regulação Eletiva e Divisão de Avaliação e Controle (CREDAC) da SES.
“Essa é mais uma iniciativa fundamental para prevenir, levar conhecimento e colaborar no tratamento dos pacientes. Parabéns às equipes envolvidas nesse ato tão importante de cuidado da saúde da nossa população”, destacou o secretário da Saúde, Dr. Cláudio Pompeo.
