Superação, saúde e vitalidade: a turma da melhor idade de Ubatuba aposenta o sedentarismo e surpreende nas quadras de vôlei. Sob a orientação do professor Marcos Marra, os alunos da escolinha da Prefeitura e se destacam como exemplos inspiradores para as gerações futuras.
Após um ano repleto de conquistas, a equipe da melhor idade confraternizou-se na manhã desta quinta-feira, 7 de dezembro. A celebração antecedeu o último campeonato do ano, agendado para o próximo sábado, 9, em Ilhabela. Segundo o técnico, as aulas proporcionam valiosos aprendizados mútuos.
“Eu compartilho meu conhecimento enquanto eles me inspiram diariamente com sua dedicação. Me empenho bastante, é gratificante conviver com pessoas que me incentivam a buscar sempre a excelência.”
O desejo de se superar impulsionou a jogadora Maria do Carmo a buscar novas experiências após a aposentadoria. Ao trocar Sorocaba por Ubatuba, ela não apenas mudou de endereço, mas também reformulou hábitos, enxergando o mundo por novas perspectivas.
“Quando me aposentei, imaginei que seria apenas chá e bingo, porém não foi assim! Praticar esportes é fundamental para a saúde, especialmente quando a idade traz desafios de mobilidade e circulação. Estar aqui me incentiva a ter uma rotina mais equilibrada, como acordar cedo e treinar diariamente. Sem contar as amizades: somos uma verdadeira família”, revelou.
Antônio Carlos Rocha, 62 anos, o único homem na escolinha, compartilha uma história de superação nas quadras. Cardíaco, em apenas três meses de prática de vôlei, testemunhou uma transformação significativa: menos inchaço, mais disposição e um espírito de equipe contagiante.
“O vôlei transformou minha vida! Me dá uma energia extra. O grupo é unido, muito divertido, uma alegria constante.”
Após um AVC, Selene Irani Ribeiro, de 65 anos, enfrentou um período de depressão, preenchendo seus dias com séries de televisão e uma rotina vazia. Foi então que o vôlei entrou em sua vida, conquistando um lugar não apenas seus dias, mas também seu coração.
“O processo degenerativo foi desafiador, tanto física quanto emocionalmente. Depressão, falta de disposição, atividades simples, como sentar em uma cadeira, tornaram-se obstáculos. O vôlei foi o apoio crucial para minha recuperação.”
E as conquistas não se encerram aí: Selene está entre os atletas que disputam a final da Super Liga e expressa sua determinação em trazer mais uma vitória para Ubatuba, mantendo vivo o legado da cidade. “Estamos focados na vitória! Encerraremos o ano com glórias.”
