A Prefeitura de Sorocaba promove, até o dia 6 de janeiro de 2024, a exposição “A Luz de Belém”, com presépios produzidos pelos artistas Edna Chagas, Sueli Moreno, Marilda Corrêa e Alexandre Henrique, na Biblioteca Municipal “Jorge Guilherme Senger”, localizada no Alto da Boa Vista.
Realizada pela Secretaria de Cultura (Secult), a mostra gratuita tem como objetivo levar a arte sempre para perto da população sorocabana e valorizar os artistas locais.
Na exposição, o público poderá conferir quatro tipos de presépios, feitos cada um por um artista da cidade, utilizando uma técnica diferente. Edna Chagas construiu um presépio de feltro. Sueli Moreno fez de amigurumi, com técnica de crochê. Marilda Corrêa produziu um presépio de bonecas Abayomi. Por fim, Alexandre Henrique confeccionou um presépio feito em EVA.
“A Luz de Belém” pode ser visitada de segunda a sexta, das 9h às 17h. A Biblioteca Municipal “Jorge Guilherme Senger” está localizada na Rua Ministro Coqueijo Costa, 180, no Alto da Boa Vista. Mais informações podem ser obtidas pelo telefone: (15) 3228-1955.
