Neste sábado (23), das 9h às 13h, a Prefeitura de Sorocaba realizará a feira de adoção de cães no Ceagesp, localizado na Rua Terêncio Costa Dias, 300, no Parque Santa Isabel. Todos os animais são castrados, microchipados, vacinados e vermifugados.
Promovida pela Secretaria do Meio Ambiente, Proteção e Bem-Estar Animal (Sema), a feira do programa “D + uma chance, adote uma vida!” faz parte de uma campanha municipal permanente de adoção responsável de cães e gatos.
Adotar um animal de estimação é assumir uma responsabilidade e jamais pode ser uma ação por impulso, pois os tutores precisam garantir o cuidado necessário a esses animaizinhos por toda a vida. Um cão, por exemplo, pode viver mais de 15 anos, ou seja, ele vai precisar da atenção do seu tutor por muito tempo, como receber carinho, cuidados veterinários, além da necessidade de brincar e passear.
Quem deseja adotar um animalzinho de estimação ainda pode comparecer diretamente à Unidade de Proteção e Bem-Estar Animal, localizada na Rua Rosa Maria de Oliveira, 345, ao lado do Instituto Humberto de Campos, no Jardim Zulmira, que funciona de segunda a sexta-feira, das 9h às 16h.
