Através do Centro de Abordagem Social – CAS, a Secretaria de Assistência Social realizou um momento de bate papo, dinâmicas e orientações com mensagens de esperança e reforços sobre a importância da construção de um novo projeto de vida, aproveitando o clima de Natal e Ano Novo.
O evento contou com a participação ativa dos técnicos da Secretaria, Psicólogos e Assistentes Sociais, responsáveis pelo trabalho junto a essa população e teve momentos intensos de reflexão e emoção. A Assistência Social trabalha fundada nos princípios da dignidade humana objetivando sempre o acolhimento e a mudança de vida.
Neste sentido, somente este ano, já encaminhou cerca de cento e trinta pessoas para acolhimento institucional em Comunidades Terapêuticas para tratamento, além de centenas de outros serviços ofertados como acolhida, passagens, café da manhã, almoço, banho, kits de higiene, roupas, contato com familiares, etc.
O evento contou ainda, com a participação do Vice Prefeito Régis Yasumura e do Secretário Marcos Evangelista, idealizador dessas ações.
