Restaurantes populares da Prefeitura servem almoço especial de Natal – Prefeitura da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro

Nas três unidades, localizadas em Bangu, Bonsucesso e Campo Grande, foram servidos mais de 4 mil almoços – Roberto Moreyra/SMTE

Os frequentadores dos restaurantes populares de Bangu, Bonsucesso e Campo Grande tiveram uma surpresa nesta sexta-feira (22/12). Um cardápio especial para marcar o período de festas foi servido nas três unidades. E, para comemorar o Natal antecipado, o secretário municipal de Trabalho e Renda, Everton Gomes, confraternizou em Campo Grande com trabalhadores, onde foram servidos 1.502 almoços. De lá, seguiu para o Restaurante Popular Getúlio Vargas, em Bangu (1.650 almoços servidos), e, em seguida, para o Restaurante Popular João Goulart, em Bonsucesso (902 almoços servidos), onde almoçou .

– É uma alegria poder compartilhar com os frequentadores dos restaurantes populares o espírito de Natal. Por apenas R$ 2, o cidadão carioca pode saborear um prato balanceado, saboroso e diferente – explicou o secretário, acrescentando que, entre janeiro e dezembro, foram servidos mais de 800 mil almoços nos três restaurantes administrados pela Prefeitura do Rio.

Como as unidades não funcionam nos fins de semana e feriados, a ceia foi antecipada para que os usuários dos restaurantes pudessem saborear um cardápio diferente. Em Bonsucesso, foi servido chester à Califórnia, arroz à grega e, de sobremesa, rabanada. Já em Campo Grande foram servidos peito de frango ao molho de laranja, farofa e os frequentadores puderam optar entre rabanada e salada de frutas. No restaurante de Bangu, frango, farofa e pudim de sobremesa.

No dia 25 de dezembro será a vez dos frequentadores das 19 Cozinhas Comunitárias Cariocas comemorarem o Natal. Na próxima segunda-feira, serão distribuídos 1,8 mil brinquedos para as crianças beneficiárias do programa Prato Feito Carioca. O secretário Everton Gomes participará da festa na cozinha comunitária da Ilha do Governador, a partir das 10h30, na Rua Romancista, 96, na Freguesia. E também da comemoração em Nova Sepetiba, na Avenida 2, 360, na Zona Oeste.
