Uma operação de sucesso foi realizada na quarta-feira, 27 de dezembro, envolvendo a Secretaria de Assistência Social, Secretaria de Infraestrutura, Secretaria de Segurança Pública, Polícia Militar e Defesa Civil e Guarda Civil Militar.
A ação abordou 23 pessoas nas imediações da Avenida Iperoig, Praia Grande e Banco do Brasil. Como resultado, oito delas foram encaminhadas para abrigos temporários, enquanto outras 15 expressaram o desejo de retornar às suas cidades de origem, sendo auxiliadas com passagens.
Conforme o secretário de Assistência Social, Luiz Augusto Rocha, a estratégia proporciona um ambiente mais seguro e acolhedor para todos, especialmente diante da temporada turística. “A Prefeitura está organizando operações regulares, duas vezes por semana, quer podem ser ampliadas conforme a necessidade. O objetivo é garantir o bem-estar dessas pessoas e oferecer suporte e oportunidades para que reconstruam suas vidas com dignidade”, conclui.
