A Prefeitura de São José dos Campos e a CDHU (Companhia de Desenvolvimento Habitacional e Urbano) assinaram nesta quinta-feira (4) o convênio para construção de ao menos 200 unidades habitacionais destinadas a famílias inscritas no programa habitacional do município. A solenidade foi realizada no Paço Municipal, com a presença do governador em exercício, Felicio Ramuth, e de autoridades estaduais e municipais.
Pela parceria, o financiamento dos empreendimentos estará a cargo da CDHU, que vai investir R$ 40 milhões. A Prefeitura ficará responsável pela indicação dos terrenos, desenvolvimento do projeto e execução das obras.
Estão aptos a se candidatar às moradias os munícipes com renda até 3 salários mínimos residentes em áreas de risco ou em situação de vulnerabilidade social ou econômica. Os locais serão analisados pela empresa, que é vinculada ao Governo de São Paulo. A previsão é construir no mínimo 4 empreendimentos, entre conjuntos de apartamentos e casas, em bairros localizados nas regiões leste e norte da cidade.
Somados os 528 apartamentos de 6 empreendimentos selecionados pelo Governo Federal e a Caixa em novembro, São José dos Campos ganhará 728 imóveis para habitação de interesse social.
