Bibliotecas das escolas da rede municipal de Nova Iguaçu recebem livros do Prêmio Antônio Fraga




O livro “DNA Nordestino de Nova Iguaçu”, com textos de 15 estudantes selecionados pelo edital da primeira edição do Prêmio Antônio Fraga, foi entregue nesta segunda-feira (23) pelo presidente da Fundação Educacional e Cultural de Nova Iguaçu (Fenig), Miguel Ribeiro, a Secretária Municipal de Educação, Maria Virgínia Andrade Rocha.

Os exemplares da publicação, editada pela Fenig, vão ser serão distribuídos nas bibliotecas das escolas da rede municipal para as turmas da Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) e do Ensino Fundamental 2, que participaram do edital de criação de contos e prosas com o tema “DNA Nordestino de Nova Iguaçu”. Com isso, os alunos poderão trabalhar os textos desenvolvidos pelos autores estudantes com a orientação dos professores. A primeira edição foi realizada pela Prefeitura de Nova Iguaçu, numa parceria da Fenig com a Secretaria Municipal de Educação e a Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, campus Nova Iguaçu, e apoio da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura.

Em dezembro do ano passado, em evento realizado no Teatro Sylvio Monteiro, os 15 alunos premiados e seus professores receberam exemplares do livro e autografaram as publicações para amigos e familiares.

O Prêmio Antônio Fraga é uma homenagem ao escritor que viveu na Baixada Fluminense e se notabilizou por obras como o livro “Desabrigo”.

A segunda edição do Prêmio Antônio Fraga já está com inscrições abertas. Dessa vez, ela é voltada para escritores do município que vão desenvolver o tema “DNA Iguaçuano”.
