Refeições divertidas alegram as crianças do Hospital Geral de Nova Iguaçu
A hora do almoço se tornou um dos momentos mais aguardados pelas crianças do Hospital Geral de Nova Iguaçu (HGNI). Diariamente, elas são surpreendidas com refeições divertidas, que transformam a alimentação em um momento lúdico, alegre e acolhedor. A expectativa não está apenas na revelação do cardápio do dia, mas também na curiosidade sobre como os pratos montados serão apresentados.
Estes pacientes são surpreendidos com refeições de variadas formas e personagens que transformam os pratos tradicionais em arte. Coelhinhos, borboletas, cachorros e outros formatos lúdicos são utilizados para estimular a imaginação e tornar a alimentação não apenas nutritiva, mas também uma experiência única e alegre.
“Existem dois aspectos importantes nas refeições divertidas. O primeiro é transformar o ambiente hospitalar em algo mais lúdico e acolhedor. O segundo é a parte nutricional, já que o prato chama a atenção da criança para comer legumes, verduras, entre outros alimentos que ajudam na recuperação mais rápida”, destaca o diretor-geral do HGNI, Ulisses Melo.
Diariamente, mais de 20 refeições divertidas são entregues às crianças da pediatria, respeitando as orientações médicas específicas para cada caso. A equipe de nutrição e alimentação do HGNI utiliza a criatividade para garantir que cada prato não apenas atenda às necessidades nutricionais, mas também estimule o apetite e a aceitação de alimentos essenciais.
“As forminhas divertidas trazem um outro olhar para o esse alimento e como ele se apresenta para estimular a criança na aceitação, tornando a refeição um momento acolhedor e de prazer. A recuperação está associada a este momento e contribui para uma abordagem nutricional com pontos positivos em relação à saúde e bem-estar deste paciente”, ressalta Daiana Teixeira, coordenadora de nutrição do HGNI.
Apesar de ser voltada para as crianças, as refeições divertidas também têm chamado a atenção dos pais, responsáveis e acompanhantes. Para a vendedora Patrícia de Souza Ribeiro, de 35 anos, este projeto tem sido importante no avanço com os cuidados para as crianças.
“Por ser animada e divertida, a refeição acaba induzindo as crianças a comer. Ela não associa, por exemplo, o legume ou a verdura a algo com gosto ruim, mas, por causa da diversidade de imagens, ela vê o alimento como uma coisa mais lúdica. Isso faz com que ela aceite melhor essa alimentação, que também faz parte do tratamento”, explica Patrícia, que acompanha o filho Davi, de 11 anos.
Até os menores têm entrado nesta brincadeira, como Cauã Gabriel, de 8 anos. Sua mãe, a autônoma Jéssica Martins, de 26, conta que o filho não comia muito no início da internação, mas bastou receber o almoço de forma diferente que aquilo lhe chamou a atenção.
“Eu acho um bom projeto porque incentiva a criança a comer. Quando vieram as refeições divertidas, isso chamou a atenção dele. Há um mito de que comida de hospital é ruim, mas preparadas de forma adequada e com esses desenhos são muito bem aceitas”, conclui.
