Secretaria de Proteção ao Cidadão
A Prefeitura de São José dos Campos, por meio do programa São José Unida, está mobilizando as forças de segurança para ampliar o patrulhamento preventivo nos bairros que compõem a região central da cidade.
A medida inclui o patrulhamento diurno e noturno, tanto das equipes da Polícia Militar quanto da GCM (Guarda Civil Municipal) para inibir as ocorrências de furto aos pequenos comércios, residências e condomínios.
O objetivo é ampliar a sensação de segurança da população que reside no local, utiliza dos serviços oferecidos ou trabalha nos estabelecimentos comerciais instalados nos bairros.
Os homens e mulheres das forças de segurança estão realizando o patrulhamento preventivo com viaturas (carros e motos), 24 horas por dia. Inclusive as equipes do programa de Atividade Delegada da PM estão participando da ação.
Viaturas da GCM patrulham nos bairros para ampliar a sensação de segurança à população
Monitoramento por câmeras
Além do patrulhamento, o monitoramento das vias dos bairros que compõem a região central, por meio das câmeras do CSI (Centro de Segurança e Inteligência), também está sendo priorizado para auxiliar os agentes das forças de segurança na identificação e prisão de suspeitos de cometerem crimes, principalmente nos casos de furtos e roubos.
Produtividade
Desde o início de dezembro de 2023, com as ações conjuntas na Operação Centro +Seguro, as forças de segurança (PM e GCM) prenderam 70 pessoas em flagrante na região central. Houve ainda dois flagrantes de ato infracional com 2 menores apreendidos.
Vale lembrar que em caso de qualquer situação de risco à segurança ou atos de vandalismo, a população pode denunciar nos canais que funcionam 24h como o 190 (Polícia Militar) ou 153 (GCM), gratuitamente, para acionar as forças de segurança.
