Além das tradicionais marchinhas, matinês e programação de blocos de rua, o carnaval de Ubatuba este ano também contará com shows musicais durante o “Ubafolia, na onda da alegria”. Com credenciamento pela Fundação de Arte e Cultura (Fundart), as apresentações serão, quase que em sua totalidade, realizadas por artistas locais.
Dois grandes palcos serão montados para shows musicais e de dança: um na Praça de Eventos, localizado na avenida Iperoig, no centro e, outro na Maranduba, na região sul. As apresentações começam na sexta-feira, 9, e vão até a terça-feira, 13.
A grande novidade deste carnaval é que pela primeira vez em Ubatuba, o bloco Juca Teles e a banda Estrambelhados, de São Luiz do Paraitinga, aceitaram o convite do município e serão presença confirmada no dia 11 de fevereiro, no palco central.
“Foi um pedido do nosso prefeito Marcinho para que a programação do carnaval fosse quase que 100% constituída por artistas da cidade, para valorizar a cultura local e fortalecer nossos profissionais. A única exceção está no bloco Juca Teles e banda Estrambelhados, uma atração regional, importante também para incentivar a tradição das marchinhas no município”, explicou o presidente da Fundart, Luiz Bischof.
