A unidade do Procon Móvel de Sorocaba estará em dois pontos da cidade, na próxima semana, com atendimentos à população. Na quinta-feira (15), o serviço estará disponível na unidade do Centro de Referência em Assistência Social (Cras) Aparecidinha (Rua do terço, s/nº), das 9h às 16h, sendo que na sexta-feira (16) a unidade permanecerá na Praça Coronel Fernando Prestes, na região central da cidade, das 9h às 13h.
Normalmente, os atendimentos do Procon Móvel ocorrem às segundas, quartas e sextas-feiras, porém, em virtude do fim de semana prolongado devido ao Carnaval, houve alteração da escala de serviço da próxima semana, de modo que os trabalhos na unidade não sejam interrompidos.
O Procon Sorocaba está vinculado à Secretaria de Governo (Segov), da Prefeitura de Sorocaba, e atua na proteção e na defesa dos direitos do consumidor, sendo importante veículo de valorização e respeito à cidadania. Na unidade móvel do órgão, são feitos registros de solicitações, abertura de reclamações referentes ao direito do consumidor, além de orientações e encaminhamentos.
O atendimento presencial também está disponível na sede do Procon Municipal, que fica na Avenida Antônio Carlos Comitre, altura do nº 331, das 9h às 16h, de segunda a sexta-feira, assim como na Casa do Cidadão da Av. Ipanema (das 8h às 15h, de segunda a sexta-feira), na Casa do Cidadão da Av. Nogueira Padilha (das 8h às 15h, às terças e quintas-feiras) e na Casa do Cidadão do Shopping Pátio Cianê (Piso 3, Bloco B, das 10h às 18h, de segunda a sexta-feira).
