O Conselho Municipal de Meio Ambiente realizou a primeira reunião do ano nesta quarta-feira (7) com a participação do prefeito Josmail Rodrigues e do secretário de Meio Ambiente, Thyago Sabino, que apresentou aos conselheiros e população presente os relatórios de Gestão dos Resíduos Sólidos e Supressão e Poda de Árvores em 2023.
O relatório apresenta a quantidade de lixo transportada para o Aterro Sanitário de Jardim mensalmente e o acumulado do ano, que fechou em 74 mil toneladas, custando ao município R$ 1,5 milhões. Já a cooperativa de catadores Paraíso Bonito reciclou pouco mais de 9 toneladas de material e também foram recolhidos 9,9 toneladas de pneus e 1500 kg de eletrônicos.
Em relação as podas e supressões de árvores, o relatório apresenta um passo a passo para o procedimento, destacando a necessidade de autorização da SEMA, bem como detalha a compensação ambiental. Apresenta ainda, o quantitativo de mudas doadas pelo Viveiro Municipal, que ultrapassaram 4,3 mil, sendo 2 mil para intuições parceiras, como o IASB e prefeituras dos municípios de Sidrolândia, Bela Vista e Caracol.
