O aumento de casos de dengue tomou conta dos noticiários nacionais e, em Ubatuba, os números já chegam a 582 confirmações da doença, somente nos primeiros 50 dias de 2024. O Boletim Informativo de Arboviroses, divulgado nesta segunda-feira, 19, pela Vigilância Epidemiológica (Viep), registra ainda que 821 pessoas aguardam o resultado de exames da dengue no município.
O informativo também informa que cinco possíveis casos de Chikungunya e um de febre amarela estão em investigação.
Como medida de prevenção, a Prefeitura de Ubatuba, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, tem feito mutirões em diferentes bairros, serviços de nebulização, vistoria de casas, comércios e construções, colocação de faixas pela cidade, distribuição de panfletos, orientações a moradores e turistas, além de monitorar pontos estratégicos e áreas públicas da cidade, com a aplicação de larvicida biológico.
Em conjunto com as ações municipais, os agentes do setor de Endemias reforçam a importância da colaboração da população para eliminar os criadouros do Aedes aegypti, não deixando água parada em pneus, vasos de plantas, garrafas ou outros recipientes que possam permitir a reprodução do mosquito.
Como se prevenir
Além dos cuidados básicos, como evitar água parada e manter a limpeza frequente dos imóveis e caixas d’água, a Secretaria de Saúde ressalta que é essencial o uso de repelentes e, se possível, o uso de roupas que minimizem a exposição da pele e possam evitar a picada do mosquito.
