Investimentos do Governo de Mato Grosso do Sul vão ajudar o município de Itaporã, com 24 mil habitantes, a chegar perto de 100% das vias pavimentadas. Os repasses foram garantidos nesta quarta-feira (28) durante encontro de representantes da cidade com o governador Eduardo Riedel, em Campo Grande.
“Nosso plano de governo (municipalista) está em cima da mesa. Não mudo uma vírgula. A gente olha para a frente. Com este nosso apoio muda a cara do município. A gente faz com muita alegria”, disse Riedel.
O prefeito Marcos Pacco saiu contente da reunião: “A população aguarda ansiosamente pelo asfalto. Acaba o barro, acaba a poeira. As casas vão ficando mais limpas. Para quem não tem asfalto, a ansiedade é muito grande, a cobrança é muito grande. Então é muito importante chegar a 100% de asfaltamento em toda a cidade”.
Serão 4,5 milhões em obras de pavimentação nos distritos de Montese, Santa Terezinha, Piraporã e o bairro Brinco de Ouro.
Também haverá recurso de R$ 1,5 milhão do governo estadual em obras no calçadão Frei Paulino e outros R$ 6 milhões em trecho de duplicação da MS-156.
“Ela liga o centro da cidade com o bairro mais populoso que temos, a grande Cohab. Já tem uma via de acesso, mas é mais estreita e um lugar de risco muito grande, com motos, bicicletas e pessoas a pé. Já aconteceram vários acidentes. Então isso vem de acordo com o que a população pede, mais segurança viária”, disse o prefeito.
Outro investimento bastante aguardado pelos moradores de Itaporã é a construção do anel rodoviário que já havia sido aprovada para receber recursos do Governo de MS. São R$ 59 milhões em repasse e as obras, já licitadas, devem começar no próximo mês de março.
“Vai tirar o trânsito pesado de dentro da cidade. Já acontecerem vários acidentes. Pessoas perderam a vida e agora graças a Deus a obra vai se tornar realidade”, ressaltou Marcos Pacco, que participou da reunião na Governadoria acompanhado do vice-prefeito Roberto Marsura e vereadores da cidade.
Também estiveram no encontro o vice-governador José Carlos Barbosa, mais conhecido como Barbosinha, os secretários Hélio Peluffo (Seilog), Eduardo Rocha (Casa Civil), João César Mattogrosso (adjunto da Casa Civil), além dos deputados estaduais Márcio Fernandes e Zé Teixeira.
