O Procon Carioca, órgão vinculado à Secretaria Especial de Cidadania, da Prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro, notificou nesta quarta-feira (28/02) o Supermercado Princesa, na Rua do Catete, para que apresente informações no prazo de 20 dias, por conta de irregularidades constatadas pelos agentes do Instituto Municipal de Proteção e Defesa do Consumidor.
Entre as infrações, havia produtos expostos para comercialização com embalagens danificadas e/ou impróprias, bem como expostos para comercialização fora do prazo de validade. Esse material foi descartado, em um total de 35,088 quilos.
Foram encontrados também produtos expostos para comercialização sem precificação.
Além disso, o Procon Carioca recebeu denúncia de possível adulteração de preços do “Queijo Minas Frescal Caetes”. O consumidor teria constatado diferenças entre os preços no encarte de divulgação, o preço afixado no produto e o da nota fiscal. Os agentes solicitaram ao mercado as notas fiscais de compra e venda do produto para apurar possíveis irregularidades e também eventual publicidade enganosa, ao anunciar produto sem quantidade razoável para venda.
O Procon Carioca ressalta a importância de o consumidor estar atento às condições dos produtos na hora da compra. É fundamental checar data de validade, condições de embalagem e armazenagem e higiene do local. Em caso de dúvida, basta fazer uma denúncia nos canais de atendimento.
