O Projeto Guri recebeu na tarde desta quinta-feira (14) a presença de dois integrantes do Orquestra Barroca Irlandesa (Irish Baroque Orchestra). O projeto é uma parceria entre a Fundação Cultural Cassiano Ricardo e o Governo do Estado de São Paulo.
Apesar de fazerem parte da orquestra irlandesa, os dois integrantes não são originários do país. Eles participaram de um bate-papo com cerca de 40 alunos dos cursos de coral e corda. Ao final, tocaram violino e viola com os alunos do Guri.
“É muito bom estar no Brasil, eu já amo esse lugar”, disse a britânica Aliye Cornish, diretora da Orquestra Barroca Irlandesa.
O holandês Micael Gurevich estuda o instrumento desde os 5 anos e disse que o Brasil é um lugar especial. “Estive em uma roda de samba ontem (13), gostei muito”, finalizou.
O dia de São Patrício é comemorado no próximo domingo, e, por isso, a dupla aproveitou a data e veio ao Brasil para divulgar a orquestra.
O Projeto Guri atua na formação em música erudita com seus alunos. A parceria contempla a coordenação, direção e o projeto pedagógico dos cursos de cordas, sopros e percussão.
