A Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) deteve, na terça-feira (19), um homem, de 21 anos, por importunação sexual contra uma jovem de 18 anos, que estava acompanhada de seu pai, no transporte público. Ele foi abordado e detido no Terminal Santo Antônio, localizado no Centro de Sorocaba.
A GCM foi acionada, via Centro de Controle Operacional Integrado (CCOI), pelo motorista do ônibus. Ao chegarem no Terminal Santo Antônio, um agente da Urbes informou aos guardas sobre o caso de importunação sexual no ônibus do transporte coletivo da linha Vitória Regia.
A vítima informou que estava em pé no ônibus, acompanhada de seu pai. Já o acusado estava sentado no banco em frente a ela e que, em dado momento, ele acariciou sua coxa direita. O pai da vítima, ao presenciar o fato, discutiu com o homem até chegarem no Terminal Santo Antônio, onde o homem foi detido.
O caso foi encaminhado para a Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher (DDM), onde foi determinada a prisão em flagrante do acusado e o seu recolhimento ao Plantão Policial da Avenida General Carneiro, permanecendo à disposição da Justiça.
