A Prefeitura de Sorocaba realiza, no dia 14 de abril, a partir das 9h, o Festival Aberto de Futsal, voltado a meninas e meninos de 7 a 12 anos, no Centro de Artes e Esportes Unificados (CEU das Artes) “Prof. Flávio Vespasiano Di Giorgi”, localizado na Rua Washington Pensa, 969, no Parque das Laranjeiras.
Promovido pelas secretarias de Esporte e Qualidade de Vida (Sequav), da Cidadania (Secid) e de Cultura (Secult), o evento, além de promover a competição saudável, tem como objetivo criar oportunidades para o crescimento pessoal e o fortalecimento da comunidade local. O futsal tem se destacado como uma ferramenta valiosa para o desenvolvimento integral dos participantes.
Além da melhoria da aptidão física, a modalidade desempenha um papel fundamental no desenvolvimento psicomotor das crianças, ajudando na coordenação motora, equilíbrio e agilidade. Além disso, estudos demonstram que a prática regular do esporte pode ter impactos positivos no desenvolvimento cognitivo, estimulando habilidades, como tomada de decisão rápida, pensamento estratégico e resolução de problemas. Já no aspecto afetivo social, o esporte promove a socialização e o trabalho em equipe, ajudando os participantes a desenvolverem habilidades interpessoais, como comunicação, empatia e colaboração.
O Festival Aberto de Futsal vai premiar, com medalhas e troféus, as três primeiras equipes classificadas e também dará certificado de participação para todos.
