O Centro de Artes e Esportes Unificados (CEU das Artes) “Prof. Flávio Vespasiano Di Giorgi” oferecerá, a partir do dia 6 de abril, aulas gratuitas de Capoeira, com a professora Ana Paula Teodoro dos Santos, voltadas a crianças até 11 anos, mulheres a partir de 12 anos e pessoas com deficiência a partir de dez anos. A atividade ocorrerá aos sábados, às 9h, e tem vagas limitadas.
Promovido pela Associação de Capoeira Ginástica Nacional de Sorocaba, com apoio da Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria da Cultura (Secult), Secretaria de Esporte e Qualidade de Vida (Sequav) e Secretaria da Cidadania (Secid), o projeto será viabilizado por meio de recursos da Lei Paulo Gustavo (Lei Complementar nº 195/2022), com o intuito de disponibilizar mais uma opção de atividade físico esportiva à população.
A capoeira oferece diversos benefícios às pessoas, incluindo melhoria na flexibilidade, condicionamento físico, coordenação motora e equilíbrio. Além disso, promove interação social e desenvolvimento cultural e mental, estimulando a criatividade e a expressão individual.
As pessoas interessadas devem se inscrever para participar, inicialmente, de uma Roda Aberta de Capoeira, no dia 24 de março, às 9h, no CEU das Artes. Na ocasião, a professora Ana Paula Teodoro dos Santos, que tem vasta experiência na área e em trabalhos desenvolvidos na Apae Sorocaba, vai apresentar o projeto aos alunos.
