A equipe de São José dos Campos de vôlei adaptado se prepara para a disputa no 1º CVVA (Campeonato Valeparaibano de Voleibol Adaptado). A estreia do time joseense será neste domingo (14), no Complexo Esportivo Parque do Sol (Guaratinguetá).
Idealizado pelo Conselho Regional dos Secretários de Esportes (CORESE) e Prefeituras Municipais, o torneio tem 10 munícipios inscritos.
O objetivo do campeonato é promover o envelhecimento ativo e oportunizar a competição saudável e acessível aos praticantes do voleibol adaptado.
O cerimonial de abertura tem início às 8h, com café da manhã e apresentação de início do campeonato. A partir das 9h, se iniciam as partidas. O torneio é dividido em três categorias: A (45 a 59 anos), B (60 a 69 anos) e C (acima de 70 anos).
Nesta rodada, o São José joga quatro partidas, sendo três contra o Guaratinguetá, nas categorias A, B e C, e enfrenta o time de Itaquaquecetuba (B) às 11h30.
As equipes competem com toda a estrutura de apoio da Prefeitura, por meio da Secretaria de Esporte e Qualidade de Vida.
