Equipe da Secretaria Municipal da Saúde de Sorocaba participou, na última semana, do 37º Congresso de Secretários Municipais de Saúde do Estado de São Paulo, que aconteceu em Santos, de 17 a 19 de abril. O evento teve em torno 3.400 inscritos, de 328 cidades, com um total de 193 secretários municipais de Saúde presentes.
Sorocaba foi contemplado com um certificado de menção honrosa pelo trabalho “Regularização das práticas integrativas e complementares em saúde na Atenção Primária de Sorocaba”. O tema abordado teve autoria das servidoras Ana Flávia Guimarães, Ana Paula Batista, Jaqueline Rossi Álvares Rodrigues, Jaqueline Simões Rosa, Michelle Crisina Rodrigues Leonardo, Milene Souza Branco e Renata Scudeler Bernal.
O evento contou com diversas atividades, como seminário, debates e a realização dos tradicionais cursos. Ao todo, em 2024, foram promovidos 13 cursos, com participação de aproximadamente mil pessoas.
Na ocasião, os congressistas tiveram acesso aos trabalhos expostos na 20ª Mostra de Experiências Exitosas dos Municípios paulistas. A Mostra e 13º Prêmio David Capistrano alcançou número recorde de inscrições. Ao todo, 1.687 trabalhos foram inscritos, sendo 1.669 de experiências municipais de 149 cidades diferentes.
