Os sorocabanos que desejam adotar um animalzinho de estimação podem comparecer, neste sábado (27),das 9h às 13h, à feira de adoção de cães, do programa “D + uma chance, adote uma vida!”, no Ceagesp, localizado na Rua Terêncio Costa Dias, 300, no Parque Santa Isabel.
A ação é promovida pela Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria do Meio Ambiente, Proteção e Bem-Estar Animal (Sema). Todos os animais são castrados, microchipados, vacinados e vermifugados.
A Sema ressalta que adotar um animal de estimação é assumir uma responsabilidade e jamais pode ser uma ação por impulso, pois os tutores precisam garantir o cuidado necessário a esses animaizinhos por toda a vida. Um cão, por exemplo, pode viver mais de 15 anos, ou seja, ele vai precisar da atenção do seu tutor por muito tempo, como receber carinho, cuidados veterinários, além da necessidade de brincar e passear.
Quem deseja adotar um pet também pode comparecer, de segunda a sexta-feira, das 9h às 16h, na Seção de Proteção e Bem-Estar Animal, localizada na Rua Rosa Maria de Oliveira, 345, ao lado do Instituto Humberto de Campos, no Jardim Zulmira.
