Guardas municipais do Subgrupamento de Operações de Praia (SGOP) realizaram, nesta sexta-feira (26/4), uma operação de ordenamento urbano na Praia de Copacabana, na Zona Sul do Rio, que resultou na apreensão de mais 100 produtos irregulares. Entre os objetos apreendidos estavam 16 facas, 20 garrafas de vidro, um fogareiro, um botijão de gás e 95 óculos.
Os guardas também orientaram cerca de 40 barraqueiros sobre oa proibição da comercialização e fornecimento de comida e bebida em recipientes de vidro nas praias cariocas, que vigora desde março. A utilização de recipentes de vidro oferecem riscos à população, caso sejam descartados de forma errada na areia das praias, podendo provocar ferimentos graves.
O SGOP atua diariamente nas praias da cidade, com foco na fiscalização das posturas municipais, na proteção das praias e da vegetação, e também zelando pela segurança dos frequentadores.
