A unidade disponibiliza encaminhamento para serviços de assistência jurídica, social, pedagógica e psicológica
As estações Vila Aurora e Jaraguá da CPTM recebem uma ‘Unidade Móvel LGBTI’, entre os dias 30 de abril e 3 de maio, com objetivo de oferecer ao público que passar pelos locais atendimento especializado e informações sobre direitos LGBTI. Na estação Jaraguá acontecerá nos dias 30 de abril e 3 de maio e na estação Vila Aurora será no dia 2 de maio.
As unidades móveis divulgam os serviços de assistência social, jurídica, pedagógica e psicológica e faz encaminhamento, quando necessário, para atendimento no Centro de Cidadania. As ações ocorrem nas áreas externas das estações das 11h às 16h, sempre.
A iniciativa, parceria com o Centro de Cidadania LGBTI da Secretaria Municipal de Direitos Humanos e Cidadania, gerida pela ONG ACESD, tem a finalidade de ampliar a divulgação de serviços que são oferecidos gratuitamente ao público LGBTQIAPN+ e ações permanentes de combate à homofobia e em favor do respeito à diversidade sexual.

Todas as iniciativas são realizadas com o apoio da CPTM, que abre espaços em suas estações para a realização de atividades ligadas à promoção do bem-estar de seus passageiros.

A Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos é uma operadora de transporte ferroviário de passageiros, com 1,6 milhão de passageiros transportados por dia útil. Diariamente, os trens percorrem cerca de 65 mil km, ou uma volta e meia em torno da Terra, em quase 1.700 viagens programadas. Juntas, as cinco linhas da CPTM somam 196 km de extensão, dos quais 95 km estão na capital paulista, que também conta com 26 estações do total de 57. A CPTM atende os moradores de 18 municípios, incluindo a capital.
