Desde a última segunda-feira (29) até quinta-feira (2), a Secretária Municipal de Segurança Pública vem prestando apoio no combate do mosquito aedes aegypti em Pirassununga.
A coordenação das atividades foi das equipes da Secretaria de Saúde e os membros da Segurança participaram juntamente com a Defesa Civil, que levou a máquina de fumacê. Segundo o Ministério da Saúde esta é uma estratégia emergencial de controle vetorial, sendo um setor de mitigação e prevenção.
O apoio da Defesa Civil foi necessário garantindo a segurança dos agentes. ?É importante o envolvimento dos diversos órgãos no combate ao mosquito. Todos devem trabalhar juntos, em ações integradas?, afirmou o secretário de Segurança, Carlos Eduardo Alves de Souza. A Defesa Civil do Estado já havia incorporado estes tipos de ações de combate à dengue.
