A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Serviços Públicos e Obras (Serpo), deu início, nesta terça-feira (7), à implantação da área de lazer localizada na Rua Luiz Alberto Mitidieri, no Jardim Residencial Morada das Flores, Zona Leste da cidade. O prazo para a conclusão das obras é de até 90 dias.
A iniciativa municipal faz parte do programa “Sorocaba Linda de Verdade” e é realizada por meio de medida compensatória em parceria com a empresa VIC Engenharia LTDA., sob supervisão da Secretaria de Serviços Públicos e Obras.
A área de lazer contará com campo de futebol, academia ao ar livre, playground, bancos, passeio público, limpeza, paisagismo e iluminação com tecnologia em LED. Essas melhorias têm como objetivo proporcionar lazer e mais oportunidade de convívio, além da prática de atividade física, garantindo mais qualidade de vida aos moradores.
Moradora do Jardim Morada das Flores há 13 anos, Verônica Nogueira estava acompanhada do filho Isac, de nove anos, durante o evento de inicio de obra. Para ela, a área de lazer no bairro é uma grande aquisição para os moradores. “Com esse novo local, as crianças poderão brincar e os adultos terão um espaço de convivência à disposição”, disse. “Agora não vou mais precisar jogar bola em casa, terá um campo de futebol bem perto de onde eu moro”, conclui Isac.
