A Guarda Civil Municipal de Ubatuba (GCM) inicia, nesta quarta-feira (8), uma campanha para arrecadar rações sem corantes para cães e gatos que serão enviadas para ajudar os tutores de animais no Rio Grande do Sul (RS).
Com a tragédia das enchentes, muitos animais estão sem alimentação e essa é uma maneira prática e eficaz de ajudá-los durante momentos como este, de catástrofes naturais.
As doações podem ser entregues na sede da corporação, que fica na rua da Lua, 42, Perequê-Açu, de segunda a sexta-feira, das 8h às 17h.
“A Defesa Civil e o Fundo Social estão arrecadando doações de acordo com a necessidade da população gaúcha. Entretanto, estamos vendo diversos animais sendo resgatados e pensamos em também contemplar essa categoria e, por isso, lançamos a campanha”, explicou a inspetora da GCM, Patrícia do Amaral.
Caso alguém tenha uma quantidade significativa de doação e não consiga levar até a GCM, pode solicitar a retirada pelo telefone 153. Se a população vir a viatura passando e também desejar fazer a entrega, pode sinalizar para a ronda, que também vai recolher a doação.
