A Prefeitura do Rio, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Transportes (SMTR), criou duas novas linhas de ônibus para atender o Terminal Deodoro. Os novos serviços, que entram em operação no início deste mês, são: SP918 (Bangu – Terminal Deodoro) e 754 (Santa Cruz – Terminal Deodoro).
Com essas novidades, são mais de 160 serviços de ônibus retomados ou criados na cidade, desde o dia 1º de junho de 2022, quando começou a vigorar o acordo judicial firmado entre o município, os consórcios de ônibus e o Ministério Público Estadual. O plano operacional tem como objetivo regularizar, de forma gradual, o serviço de ônibus para atender todas as regiões da cidade.
Conforme foi estabelecido no acordo judicial, além da receita da tarifa paga pelos passageiros de R$ 4,30, os consórcios recebem um valor adicional pelo serviço efetivamente prestado com base no quilômetro rodado. A Prefeitura atesta a quilometragem rodada por meio de GPS.
