Neste mês de maio, a Diretoria de Trânsito da Prefeitura de Ubatuba e a Associação Comercial e Industrial de Ubatuba (Aciu) se unem para conscientizar os motoristas sobre o risco de sinistros de trânsito, com o objetivo final de preservar vidas.
Como parte do maio amarelo, movimento nacional que coloca em pauta a segurança viária e mobiliza toda a sociedade, as entidades vão realizar um evento no dia 28 de maio, no Teatro Municipal , das 9h às 11h, totalmente gratuito e aberto ao público.
Com base no tema “a paz no trânsito começa por você”, a programação traz palestras de diversos órgãos, como Polícia Rodoviária Federal, Corpo de Bombeiros e Samu, que vão abordar as diferentes faces das ocorrências que, inclusive, são capazes de levar à morte.
“O evento é direcionado a todos, motoristas, ciclistas e pedestres, porém, este ano, vamos dar um foco maior aos motociclistas, pois o maior número de acidentes em Ubatuba vem desta categoria e conscientizar é o primeiro passo”, destacou o diretor de Trânsito, Edgar Clarindo.
“A Aciu foi muito feliz em propor a parceria, pois o maio Amarelo é um evento que realizamos anualmente e, quanto mais apoio, melhor. Sabemos do grande público de empresários que utiliza a moto entrega como serviço e tendo esse apoio, fica mais fácil de trazer todos para a mesma causa, que é a diminuição dos acidentes, que hoje chamamos de sinistro”, acrescentou o secretário de Segurança, Alexandre Napoli.
“Queremos promover uma reflexão sobre a responsabilidade de cada um na construção de um trânsito mais seguro e humanizado. Conscientizar os motociclistas é fundamental para reduzir os acidentes de trânsito, pois eles representam uma parcela significativa das vítimas”, finalizou o 1º secretário da Diretoria da Aciu, Luis Claudio da Silva.
