A Secretaria de Ordem Pública iniciou nesta quinta-feira (16/5), a demolição de dois pavimentos e do terraço de um “arranha-céu” construído irregularmente, em Irajá, Zona Norte da Rio. O prédio possui sete andares. O térreo é composto por uma loja, o 2º, 3º e 4º pavimentos são residenciais com suas unidades habitadas e o 5º, 6º e 7º pavimentos são destinados a área de lazer, onde foram iniciadas as demolições. Na área do terraço existe um pavimento com hidromassagem e churrasqueira, outro com um escritório e uma suíte e um pavimento com cobertura. Durante a operação, nove cortes de luz clandestina foram realizados e um de água.
O imóvel foi construído na área da favela Parque Jardim Metrô Irajá, sem qualquer licença. A construção foi embargada em janeiro de 2023 e foi aberto um processo de legalização. Porém, foi indeferido por não atender a legislação urbanística vigente e por ocupar área de recuo, projetada para o alargamento da Avenida Pastor Martin Luther King Jr, sendo assim ilegalizável.
– Temos dado um recado muito claro que não iremos tolerar construções irregulares na cidade, não à toa já realizamos cerca de 3.500 demolições desde 2021. Seguiremos firmes com as operações de demolição para garantir uma cidade mais ordenada – afirmou o secretário de Ordem Pública Brenno Carnevale.
Demolição também na Ilha do Governador
As equipes da Seop também realizaram a demolição de 14 construções irregulares na Estrada das Canárias, na Ilha do Governador, que ocupavam uma área pública de aproximadamente 980m². Elas funcionavam com fins comerciais como: chaveiro, borracheiro, ferro-velho, lanchonete e transporte e não possuíam qualquer tipo de autorização da Prefeitura.
Durante a operação, cinco cortes de luz clandestina foram feitos. Aproximadamente 60 toneladas de entulho foram retirados pela Comlurb. Participaram das operações equipes da Guarda Municipal, Comlurb, Rio Luz, Secretaria de Assistência Social, Light, Cedae e Polícia Militar.
