A SES (Secretaria de Estado de Saúde), por meio da coordenadoria de Imunização, iniciou nesta quinta-feira (16) a campanha ‘Governo MS Vacina Mais’. A ação, que faz parte do Projeto MS Vacina Mais, acontece até o dia 22 de maio.
A estratégia visa a ampliação do acesso à vacinação contra influenza dos servidores do Governo do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, promovendo a proteção dos trabalhadores e redução do absenteísmo, dos atendimentos ambulatoriais e internações durante o período do outono e inverno.
Conforme a coordenadora de Imunização da SES, Ana Paula Goldfinger, a estratégia de modo extramuros – quando a vacinação é realizada fora da unidade de saúde – facilita o acesso à vacina.
“Trouxemos uma facilidade na oferta do imunizante para os trabalhadores que atuam nas instituições do Governo do Estado, no Parque dos Poderes. Nós sabemos que as doenças respiratórias estão em alta, em especial as SRAGs (Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave) e a Influenza que é uma doença imunoprevenível. Então, essa estratégia vem para facilitar o acesso dessa população, que é o servidor estadual, para que ele se imunize e se mantenha protegido dessas doenças”, afirma.
Até o momento Mato Grosso do Sul apresenta uma cobertura vacinal para os grupos prioritários de 27,63%. Campo Grande já aplicou 116.578 doses da vacina, alcançando uma cobertura vacinal para os grupos prioritários de 27,49% de uma população alvo de 367.493 pessoas (Dados contidos na RNDS – Rede Nacional de Dados em Saúde até o dia 14/05/2024).
A vacinação é uma das principais medidas preventivas e uma das medidas mais eficazes para evitar casos graves e óbitos por gripe.
Tradicionalmente realizada em todo o País entre os meses de abril e maio, a Campanha Nacional de Vacinação contra Influenza começou em março neste ano, em razão do aumento da circulação de vírus respiratórios no território nacional. A vacina utilizada é trivalente, ou seja, apresenta três tipos de cepas de vírus em combinação – A (H1N1); A (H3N2) e B (linhagem B/Victoria) – protegendo contra os principais vírus em circulação.
