A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio do Centro de Aceleração Desenvolvimento e Inovação (CADI), ligado à Secretaria de Administração (Sead), anunciou, na tarde desta sexta-feira (16), a pavimentação das nove ruas da Chácara Três Marias, localizado na região do Cajuru, zona leste da cidade. A obra será realizada a partir de recursos federais viabilizados por emenda parlamentar do deputado federal Marcos Pereira.
As obras, com previsão de início no fim do segundo semestre de 2024, devido aos trâmites da legislação e licitação para contratação da empresa especializada neste serviço, contemplam 18.315,68 m² de pavimentação em todas as ruas do local, além de guias e sarjetas. O prazo de entrega é de até cinco meses após o início dos trabalhos.
“O novo asfalto será muito importante para todos os moradores, pois juntava muito barro no local em dias de chuva e, em dias secos, muita poeira. Com a pavimentação, esse problema será solucionado”, relata o aposentado Manoel Novaes, de 79 anos e há 15 morador da Chácara Três Marias.
