Na tarde desta quinta-feira (19), das 14h às 16h30, adolescentes a partir de 16 anos e adultos podem participar do projeto de leitura “A Menina Criança e sua Longa Caminhada para a Liberdade”, na Biblioteca Municipal “Jorge Guilherme Senger”. A iniciativa gratuita é realizada pela líder em países de língua portuguesa do projeto “Jornada da Leitura da Menina Criança”, Maria Lígia Conti,
O objetivo da ação é promover a leitura individual, além da troca de percepções e histórias, inspirações e esclarecimentos relativos à condição da menina e da mulher nas diversas comunidades. O projeto teve início no dia 5 de outubro e ocorrerá quinzenalmente, na Biblioteca Municipal de Sorocaba, em um total de 16 encontros.
Nas histórias apresentadas, a protagonista universal da menina reivindica sua condição humana respeitada integralmente (relacionada a suas tradições, ideias e práticas), livre de antigos paradigmas, na busca pela paz e por um futuro melhor.
A atividade é gratuita e aberta ao público, sem necessidade de inscrição prévia. A Biblioteca Municipal está localizada na Rua Ministro Coqueijo Costa, 180, no Alto da Boa Vista. Mais informações podem ser obtidas pelo telefone: (15) 3228-1955.
