A Prefeitura de Cuiabá divulga informações sobre o Imposto Predial e Territorial Urbano (IPTU) para o ano de 2024, por meio do Decreto Municipal de número 9.998, datado de 22 de dezembro do ano vigente, e que foi publicado na Gazeta Municipal.
Conforme o Decreto, a cota única do IPTU 2024, que possui um desconto de 10%, assim como a primeira parcela, terá vencimento no dia 13 de março de 2024. Os contribuintes têm a opção de pagamento em cota única ou em até 8 parcelas mensais e consecutivas. As demais parcelas terão vencimentos nas seguintes datas: 2ª parcela (15/04), 3ª parcela (13/05), 4ª parcela (13/06), 5ª parcela (15/07), 6ª parcela (13/08), 7ª parcela (13/09) e 8ª parcela (14/10).
A notificação do lançamento tributário do IPTU 2024 será publicada na Gazeta Municipal, conforme estabelecido pelo artigo 63 da Lei Orgânica do Município de Cuiabá/MT. O Documento de Arrecadação Municipal (DAM), em formato de Carnê Digital, contendo a cota única e as parcelas, será disponibilizado para os imóveis prediais e territoriais do Cadastro Fiscal Imobiliário do Município, a partir de 01 de fevereiro de 2024. O Carnê Digital e as Guias DAM avulsas poderão ser visualizados e impressos através do site da Prefeitura Municipal de Cuiabá, Portal do Contribuinte, no endereço eletrônico: https://portalfazenda.cuiaba.mt.gov.br/portalfazenda/PortalContribuinte/Home.
Para aqueles que optarem pelo pagamento impresso, as guias podem ser retiradas nos postos de atendimento indicados pela administração pública do Município de Cuiabá. É importante ressaltar que a não retirada das guias nos postos de atendimento não isenta o contribuinte da responsabilidade pelo pagamento tempestivo do IPTU 2024.
O valor mínimo da parcela do IPTU 2024 foi estabelecido em R$ 70,72. Importante mencionar que será concedido um desconto de 10% aos contribuintes que efetuarem o pagamento em cota única até o dia 13/03/2024. Após essa data, o desconto não será mais aplicado.
Caso haja discordância quanto ao valor do IPTU 2024 de um determinado imóvel, o contribuinte tem até o dia 15 de abril de 2024 para requerer a revisão do lançamento do imposto. Esse pedido deverá ser protocolizado exclusivamente por meio do Sistema GESCON, disponível no endereço eletrônico: https://cuiaba.gesconet.com.br/Web/Publico/Default.aspx?CodigoEmpresa=1.
O pedido deve ser fundamentado e acompanhado dos documentos probatórios previstos em regulamento, sendo necessário apresentar argumentos e provas irrefutáveis que justifiquem a alteração da base de cálculo utilizada no lançamento do imposto. O interessado é responsável por comprovar os fatos alegados, sob pena de arquivamento sem análise de mérito.
