Curso de Gestante do Hospital Municipal prepara futuros pais

“No curso conheci profissionais do hospital e senti que estou em boas mãos”. A frase é de Érika Dioguina Ferreira Cardoso, grávida do primeiro filho e que participou na terça-feira (30) do Curso de Gestante do Hospital Municipal.

O curso foi o primeiro do ano e atraiu 30 pessoas –gestantes e acompanhantes. O casal Tamires de Oliveira Ferreira e Lucas dos Santos Carmo também aprovou as aulas. “Aprendemos muitas coisas”, disse Tamires.

O curso é organizado pelo Ambulatório da Mulher e foi realizado no auditório do Centro de Reabilitação Lucy Montoro, ao lado do Hospital Municipal.

São palestras com especialistas sobre temas ligados à gravidez, direitos jurídicos, cuidados com a alimentação, parto e pós-parto, amamentação, cuidados com o bebê e uma aula com fisioterapeuta para praticar exercícios e relaxamento.

“Procuramos fazer aulas dinâmicas e práticas, com dicas para ajudar os futuros pais. Mostramos como funciona a maternidade, o centro obstétrico e o alojamento conjunto, onde os bebês ficam o tempo todo com as mães”, afirmou Helen Faria, enfermeira responsável pelo Ambulatório da Mulher, que organiza o curso.

Oportunidade

Jonathan Eduardo de Souza e Samanta Beatriz de Araujo já tinham pesquisado tudo sobre gravidez quando souberam do Curso de Gestante do Hospital Municipal. “Achei uma oportunidade interessante para complementar nossa aprendizagem”, disse Jonathan. 

Samanta é professora, cuida de crianças, mas sabe que será bem diferente com o filho. “Estou me preparando porque vai ser tudo novo. Estou com 18 semanas e gostei das dicas de alimentação saudável na gravidez.” 

Ao longo do ano são feitos seis cursos para gestantes pelo Ambulatório da Mulher. Os próximos serão em 26 de março, 28 de maio, 30 de julho, 24 de setembro e 26 de novembro.

Ambulatório da Mulher

O Ambulatório da Mulher do Hospital Municipal atende mulheres em gravidez de risco durante todo o pré-natal. No local também funciona o Banco de Leite Humano.

No Hospital Municipal, mantido pela Prefeitura de São José dos Campos e gerenciado pela SPDM (Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina), nascem cerca de 500 bebês por mês.
